For rent vs high school year
Hi everyone, I am thinking should I buy for rent or high school year. Which one is better ? Which one do you guys recommend ? Thanks

@kirstey08 Oof tough lol. I like HSY a lot because it adds a lot of cute little things, the world is great (don’t especially like the For Rent world), and it finally makes teen sims actually interesting. So I think if I could only keep one, that would be the one I keep.
I do really really really love apartments though and For Rent lets you do some fun things. If you like your sims being surrounded by more of a community, having the ability to create houses with lots of shared space (kitchen, living room etc) and then place a bunch of tenants into apartments that are basically just bedrooms with bathrooms attached, allows you to do just that. I love playing this way because it makes neighborhoods feel more alive and open.
So I’m very happy I have that one too and it’s also possible I just needed longer to warm to it because it also takes more time to setup than just sending ur sim to school lol.
