At first I did not want to buy it because it missed so much stuff and I was still happily playing the Sims 3. But after watching a few LP's and all of the games (that was right before luxury party stuff came out) were on sale right after my exams I was like, you know, I'll try.
Still slightly disappointed at first, because I was comparing it to TS3, which I should not have done. When I stopped comparing I started loving the game. I love the way sims move, they look so alive, I love how they first cook, I love how easily you can make a family have dinner without stomping feet and yelling and I love that every Sim I create is different. In TS3 I have the tendency to make them all look alike.
I also love the worlds, especially Granite Falls and Willow Creek. They are so bright and beautiful.
Now I both play TS3 and TS4 happily!
