When I first heard about Sims 4, I thought I would be "safe" from the temptation since I still had so much to do in Sims 3. When I eventually heard about everything that would be missing, I was sure that I was completely safe from it. But when my Sims 3 kept crashing and Sims 4 went on Gametime, I finally gave in.
I will probably never buy anything for Sims 4 at full price, but I think I'll stick with it until the end. It's hard to give up the smooth gameplay and animated Sims, even though I have more to do in Sims 3. Plus, Sims 3 is still stuttering on me (despite my new desktop) and has become utterly frustrating when I compare it to the lag-free Sims 4.
