How close, exactly, does this stuffed animal have to be to the toybox?

I've tried different animals, different toyboxes, different positions. Still waiting for it to work.

Anyone got any pointers please?

Perhaps try seeing if travelling to another lot then back again may help to make it register? Some simmers have also posted that there was a delay in registering, and after a little while it all of a sudden registered.

  Thanks, Rosie. I moved them into the garden and it suddenly registered.
