I've been doing this challenge with Timber Thompson, and it kind of took a turn towards the end.
This is Timber and her friend Tiger.
On Sunday Timber woke up thinking she and Tiger were going to have a great day.
But then Tiger started saying vague things about the end of their friendship that made her worried. She hurried to her craft table to draw up a plan.
The process seemed a little frustrating.
Ultimately she decided to take save her friendship with Tiger via pictures. So she found her father playing computer games.
"Hey Dad, can you get me a camera?" "Hey, we're rich, why not?"
So Timber dragged Tiger up to her treehouse to play, and took some photos.
Later they went to the park for more selfies.
In the meantime, Dad decided to see if maybe she'd prefer a real cat.
But the real cat did not prefer Timber.
He likes her sister Elizabeth, so I guess Elizabeth has a cat named Cleveland now.
I haven't played with this household in a few years and did not look at the calendar at all, so when Timber suddenly aged to a teen I was surprised. Puberty and high school could only make the loss of her childhood friend come sooner. So she took a sad trip to Willow Creek.
And had a tear-filled play session in the Sylvan Glade.
Then she went home and tried to memorialize her relationship with Tiger by telling her mother stories about their play.
Her mother then went on to reminisce fondly about Timber's childhood herself while the kids were at school.
In my case the autonomous completion of tasks by other household members came in handy, because I could no longer access the kid's chat room on the computer after she aged up. Somehow Elizabeth managed it so we got to the end for this week.
Your story is lovely! So sad that she became a teen too soon. I think you could stop aging during the event to prevent this issue, but this also brings the direction of the story to have more depth and expressiveness!
By the way, it's funny to see that the real cat isn't friendly to the girl but likes her sister instead.
I didn't know that a teen could hug Tiger with tears like this! This scene is so heartbreaking! I hope she can solve the problem in the end!

I am not sure if they always can, or if the option was available to her because of the event. It was just the play option, but her sad mood dominated.

I see, it's the normal hug combined with a sad mood. I will try letting my teen sim hug the stuffed animal to see if it's possible. Thanks!
