After coming home, Greg tried to find a way to fix the lens hopelessly. Such as checking his fairytale book, he remembered that it had a story about magical imaginary friends. He discovered that the magic would exist as long as they hadn't grown up.
Then he tried to search in the kids' chatroom. And found that sharing memories with others will help.
Greg went to the living room to ask his father. Arthur, who might have the better answer. Fortunately that his father was always open-minded and never thought that his story was stupid.
His father said that it may be because Greg had grown up, so he couldn't be able to see and hear what he had been able.
Greg almost cried, but Arthur hugged him to comfort him. Arther encouraged Greg to tell more stories he had in his mind. His daughter,
"Barbara would be interested in your story, too!"
Greg said many stories about Bigfoot and what magical moments he had with it. Greg now understood why telling others would help. That will make Bigfoot real in his family's mind as well!
After finish telling, Barbara rushed to see Bigfoot, whom her brother said. But the dollhouse distracted her.
Greg didn't mind. He came to sit and watch his sister play with the doll.
Seeing how Barbara still enjoyed playing with imagination reminded him of how he was when he was young,
...and how much he had grown up.
He can't be excited naively like his sister did anymore.
He had to admit that he had forgotten Bigfoot for a long time after he grew up and had more exciting computer games to play.
If his mother hadn't brought Bigfoot to put in the living room recently, he would never have thought about Bigfoot. And the magic that "makes it real" would never happen.
After a lot of thought, Greg was so glad that he was lucky enough to meet Bigfoot again.
He will do his best to treasure his memories with Bigfoot forever.
It is a lovely photo of Arthur hugging Greg and comforting him, and sweet that he told his little sister about the special times that he had spent with Bigfoot ❤️As he watched Barbara playing, it helped him to realise that he was starting to grow up, but also would havelovely memories to keep of the times he spent again with Bigfoot. He is sweet 💗
Have finally been able to do this weeks event 😁 Thought I would miss the cutoff Part I
Reese continued playing with Marshmallow and Sly. He also thought of returning back to Sylvan Glade, it was such a beautiful spot he thought. So, one morning while his mother went off to work, he skipped the morning school bus. With Marshmallow in tow, he ran to the special tree.
"You didn't get to come here the first time, but what do you think? Pretty, right?"
Reese played along with Sly, and occasionally asked him questions "Sly, how's hibernation? Wait- do you hibernate? You're not a bear"
He spent lots of hours in there, he still had to get back home before his mom. He thought he was a lucky kid when the whole house was empty. Not realizing he had forgotten to grab Sly he played lasers with his pet raccoon.
He even made some cotton candy
"Why didn't you get on the bus today?" His sister Nora asked, "I don't know what you're talking about. I got on the bus"
Though he couldn't help but brag of his adventure. "I went with Marshmallow and Sly to the big tree." "Mom's gonna be angry when she finds out" Nora added "She isn't going to find o-" "REESE!" They heard their mother shouting down the hall
"Reese, why did the school call to tell me you were absent today?" He didn't think she'd find out, "I don't know, it must be a mistake" "Reese" Colette's voice was serious. Serious enough that he spilled the beans. Colette was disappointed in him, she ended up punishing him with no tv time or toys for a week.
Punishment was a little new to them both, Colette didn't think much on it when she saw Reese playing by himself until she remembered, "Reese, I said no toys" "Ouch!"
Immediately he put the toys away and sat on the couch. Without a second thought he grabbed the remote and turned on the tv "Reese, did you forget already? I said no tv either" Colette didn't like being this hard on any of her kids but she couldn't let him cutting school slide. "Sorry mom, I just never been punished before" She wanted to giggle at that answer but she had to control herself.
