Forever Friends Gameplay and Picture Thread (Ends November 4)

Playing with the new trait a little bit and this is what I saw: 

With this trait, kids get a new option on the activity table, "Space Exploration"  

On the wall is what Dustin drew when I had him draw "Space Exploration" 

The moodlet, Energized +4 Creative Spark (From Active Imagination) "Imagination ignited, time to make something magical!" Lasts  4 hours.  

An uncomfortable moodlet +3 Timid (From Active Imagination) "The unknown feels extra unknown today. Maybe it's time to retreat into a cozy corner" Lasts 4 hours

A Want. "Complete any Creative Aspiration (From Active Imagination) Gives 50 satisfaction points 

They can also get this Want, "Craft on an Activity Table (From Active Imagination) Gives 25 satisfaction points.

I left Dustin's household (I had created him today to see the trait) and jumped into an existing household, where luckily, somebody had 5000 points and I could get Mike here a retraiting potion. He now has the trait of Active Imagination. 

Mike has higher Creativity skill, (it's maxed) When drawing "Space Exploration",  he drew the color version of what Dustin drew. 

It was great and helpful to read what you posted about the new option on the toy box, and new moodlets and wants that come with having the new Active Imagination trait. Thankyou very much for posting about it! 🙂The Space Exploration art is cute! 

I am relieved that this event is over. Now I can finally return to my regular gameplay. I did find this the most buggy event yet. The photo frame turned black, I had to buy new toys for the toy box because the previous toys had vanished and a sim became invisible. One positive bug: the go to school task auto completed on a saturday which saved me some time.

The reward trait is interesting because it is a child only trait. If a child with this trait grows up, the slot becomes free again and you have to choose two traits for your teen. Perfect if you plan on having a sims have 3 adult only traits once they grow up.

My sim returned to Sylvan glade to take a picture of not one but two childhood friends. 

Here Violet is playing with Bianca in the treehouse (seemed a fitting name for a household with all colour inspired names)

The tree house was a bit annoying. My sims' house is too small for such a bit item. The roof is already used for the modular playground of the previous task but it wasn't big enough to get sims to the tree house. So I temporarily added a big basement and used MOO

Telling aunt Indigo about her adventures.

It is a cute photo of Violet’s stuffie friend and imaginary friend  in Sylvan Glade 💗It is lovely that Violet and Bianca are having fun playing in the treehouse. It was a great idea to have the treehouse in the basement. Violet is sweet telling her aunt about her adventures ❤️

Sounds like a very interesting trait. I think I will try this on next my next generation of sims. Thanks for the useful info 

Love the first pic. I never thought of having a camp out in the glade with the children. now I know what I'm doing next weekend ( sims time that is ) 

The story of the last week is so touching! This made me believed that the stuffed animal become to life in their stories. Although you can still continue to use the stuffed animals to play as before, I now see them with more meaningful than before.

I will take time to digest my own story and choose screenshot to post here. But right now, I enjoy watching and reading each story here.

By the way, I can't complete this event 100% because current household didn't have enough space to build the tree house. I planned to prolong the event and play another household instead, but when the father come back from work .... boom! The event is completed and optional goal is gone. I missed only one reward left, but I got all exclusive rewards, so it's okay. (If not, I will report...)

Now I'm free from FOMO and can play my game on my pace from now on. But this event brought me to do some serious storytelling I haven't done before. This is heartwarming play session!😊

I have to agree. As I was playing my Chapter 7, I almost knew how it was going to end. Then when I began my Chapter 8, it was becoming bittersweet. I'm still working out the direction for Chapter 8 as I just begun the last stage. This will probably be the most emotional one from all of Lucifer's adventures.
