Forever Imbalanced Emotion System: The Big Problem

One issue with TS4's emotions is they don't mitigate each other. While in TS3 Sims would go from very happy to happy, fine, sad and finally depressed, in TS4 their target emotion has to fully override their current one before it has any effects on their mood, resulting in a very happy Sim suddenly becoming very sad (or vice versa).
