Formal/Party outfits

Thanks for this thread, I was a bit unsure of the usage of the Party outfit category. I thought it was for semi-casual parties, so I guess I was right. I generally do not stick with the filters for the different categories anyways! I used some "party" outfits for some of my sims' formal when a sim is really not at all the formal type. I always like to have a few sims who utterly fail at formal or they outright disrespect the whole concept of formal :P

I agree, I think the way they dress really gives them even more of a personality

I'm so glad they added the party category. It's the middle ground between casual and formal. That was a little struggle I had in Sims 3, to much or not enough for the occasion.
