Frog Fanatic Scenario

I have not done the Frog Scenario yet, but I do have a frog collection in my gallery. I will quickly load up my game and have a look for you which frogs there is and which ones are common :) Will be right back ;)

Make sure the frog is in your inventory when you go out fishing, only level 3 and up fishing level is required to use bait. Click on a fishing pole and select use bait and then click on our frog in the inventory. I will load a new save game and attempt this, since its limited.

Here is how I fish with bait. I fished at the little pond in the Oasis park.
I clicked on the water and selected the option to fish with bait.

Then I selected a frog (they have to be in your inventory to pop up here)

Once my sim started fishing with the frog as bait it got ticked as done.

Originally, I think I was trying the fish w/bait at his own pond which didn't work. When I went to Sylvan Glade, I was able to do it. Maybe any other place except the home lot works. I finally completed the "catch or breed 8 common frogs." I'm not sure how b/c I had 8 different common frogs, but it wasn't registering. My last assignment is to get a 4th rare frog. I have the Sunsurfer, Eggplant Whirl, and Surfer Eggplant. Do you have any tips on which frogs to breed to that a different rare?

I finally took him to Oasis Springs to the pond there and catch frogs. He *finally* caught a Bullseye frog which completed the scenario. I tried breeding different ones, but no luck in getting anything different than what he already had.

Yay glad you came right in the end :) I am just going to start this now.

I created a frog store, Frog palace on the gallery. I was missing two and it was taking forever IRL. So my scientist frog fanatic sim finally bought the last two. Simple, small store, but if days go by, you can get the store if you have Get to Work. My gallery name is simofpossibility. and it's callled Frog Palace Pet Store. Make sure to click off maxis curated under advanced if you are on gallery from web browser. Enjoy!

Thanks Peapond! I might just do that and I do have GTW. It did take forever to complete this quest. Fortunately, I had motive decay off (I don't have the game open atm and don't remember the actual name). One question though (I've not played this game for at least 4 years or more), do the sim owned stores still sell just a copy of the original? That's what I experienced when I opened my first store.
