Frustrated with Thorne Bailey

I think I got his name right :lol:

Thorne Bailey keeps turning up on every single lot my Sim is at. Not only does he have a mass of screaming fans flocking to him, he interrupts my Sims performances. If hes not standing there with his chest puffed out like a peacock he's jumping about waving his arms like hes at some kind of rave...and its all the time!!! It's incredibly annoying. He's always in the way!

My two sims went for a meal and they kept jumping out of their seats every ten seconds all because Thorne decided to turn up at a cheap burger joint. I mean, I love the atmosphere celebrities can create, but not EVERWHERE. He is always interrupting my Sims outings.

It's turning into one of my pet peeves. Do you get this too? Any advice?

    I’m watching Prisma’s LP and he’s literally stalking her Sim (aka doing the same thing you said). She’s getting soo anoyyed by him, and it’s funny because I’m another LP he Sim is obsessed with him but he won’t give her the time of day.

    Same thing is happening to me. I don’t like that celebs are turning up at random spots in town all the time. It should be a very rare occurrence like real life

    I did not have much issue with him until today. He showed up at the restaurant my sim and her family were visiting. The whole family, every other guest, the host and all the waiters flocked around Thorne and refused to do anything else. I kept telling my group to sit down together at their table, but they just got up again within a second and swarmed Thorne again! After waiting for the food from midday until evening, I had enough and just left the lot.
    I wish that at least the special sims on a lot (hosts, bartenders, waiters and so on) were coded to ignore celebrities. And that maybe the other sims hypes over the celeb for a bit and then goes back to their own business unless they got the special Fan tag.

    Wait, was that the one where he was trying to speak to a Holly Alto and his sim kept going down the stairs just to gasp or take a photo of this Thorne guy? The guy who’s video it was was hilarious he had me in hysterics I was lol’in so bad.

    I can see how incredibly fraustrating it would be though. He literally couldn’t get his sim to follow a command. Everything he told her to do something she went and gasped first.

    Lol was funny tho.

    I really hope that's a bug, the overriding what you tell your sims to do.

    Ever since my sim got to Global Star, he was less annoying because now a lot of sims surround mine just as much and throughout the days, everything was calmer and he did not get in my way as much anymore. It was annoying when my sim was only a two star celebrity but now it’s okay.

    I don't get this with the majority of celebrities, but something about Thorne he seems to enjoy frustrating my sims trying to make a name for themselves. Lookit' me I'm Thorne Bailey so give me attention. :# Or ones above two stars at least.

    I thought he was annoying until I switched households. Now my current sim keeps getting the spotlight stolen by Don and his wife. I wouldn't care so much if it didn't seem like they showed up at every public lot I send my sim to and it didn't make her freak out at seeing a celeb. Get a grip girl, you're an up and coming celebrity yourself, no need to freak out over every star who crosses your path. :D
