My (version of the) Pancakes family are about to have their first baby. Because they didn’t get dramatic makeovers and because they followed how they were made by Maxis pretty well (in my opinion), I figure it will be cute to nickname their child Iggy. Especially if it’s a boy.I don’t particularly want that to be his given name though.So I’m looking for suggestions of full names that might be nicknamed Iggy.I know a nickname doesn’t have to come from his proper name and I’ll resort to that if I have to.

Finnigan could be shortened to Iggy! :)

Thanks @littlemissgogo. Although the fire reference sounds cool (imagine a kid with Eliza’s red hair with a name meaning fire!), I think “Ignatius” sounds a little too fancy for my tastes.@eeeyun Finnigan is a distinct possibility.

I think Finnigan is the front runner, if it’s a boy.

Nicknames don't have to come from a given name. You could say his given is anything you want, but they call him Iggy. That's cute, by the way!

You mightve already named the kid, but I think Sigmund would work? Siegfried? Ludwig, Nigel, Rigby, Indigo... Vigdis is a pretty hardcore Norwegian girl name. Pretty much anything with a G in the middle. I think something like Gideon would work too!
