Future Pack Suggestions

Hey there. 

The addition of new packs to the Sims 4 have added more game play options, which are fun when they work well. Despite some issues, I wonder how many simmers would be in favor of having some sport themed game packs? Some suggestions for future sport themed packs include: 

Martial Arts: This pack could add some new careers, aspirations, and traits for sims. Children through adult sims could train in a specific martial art like Tai Kwan Do, Karate, Kung Fu, Tai Su Do, or other forms. In addition, simmers could create storylines that would include self defense, beside the base game slapping and fighting techniques. (Like Magic Realm) However, there could be several bugs with animations used in the pack, but I'm confident the sims pack creators and maintenance team could work these out.

Artistic Gymnastics: This pack could include both mens and womens gymnastics. With the six events for male sims and the four events for female sims. Simmers would have to build their sims skills in order to unlock a new event or event skill. (Like the Horse Ranch, Snowy Escape packs) However, as skill building is not differentiated in the Sims 4, both male and female sims could unlock all the skills. A cool feature of this pack could be having gymnastic meets. In these meets, a sim or team of sims would compete in three to six events choosen by the simmers. (Like choosing tasks in My Wedding Stories and the Lovestruck packs)  For each event, the sim could choose a routine (unlockable at certain skill level) to perform. Depending on the difficulty and execution of the routine, the sims would be given a score, as if they were in a real life gymnastics event. This pack would also offer new aspirations, traits, preferences, and skill building along with new lot traits and objects. Like the martial arts pack, this pack might have also contain animation errors that could be easily corrected.

Track and Field: This pack would have four new aspirations. Two aspirations for track and two for field events. This pack could have two additional skills: one for track and one for field events. The track skill would build along with the fitness skill.  Like mentioned in the gymnastics pack above, there could also be track and field meets where sims would compete. For track: 50 meter dash, 200 meter relay, 100 meter hurdles, steeplechase or 1600 meter run. Each event is unlocked at a certain skill level. For field events: shotput, discus, javaline, and hammer throw would be the events. Simmers could choose which events they want their sim to compete in, depending on sim skill level would determine placement. However, these events could turn into nothing more than a rabbit hole like the soccer games in the University pack or the horse competition in the Horse Ranch pack. Which is not something most simmers who purchase a pack like this would want to see. Simmers want to see the action not just hear about it.

Anyway, these are just a few suggestions for future sport themed game packs. If these packs were combined into an expansion pack, with a few other sporting events, it could be labeled as an Olympic Expansion pack.
