It seems most of our current worlds are based in a North American setting. Sim Guru Grant has recently stated they are trying to work around the world in terms of how they design their worlds. So the question is:
Which continent would you like to see represented most in a future world?
And if you want to elaborate on the specifics such as region and culture I'd love to hear about it.
I checked Asia as I want that one in particular Japan- but I would be overjoyed to have all the countries listed but USA - I won't say NorthAmerica - because I'd love to see some Canadian towns too. But I'd love so many countries - on that list. Would not be disappointed in any of them.
I just think that Europe is such a fashionable place. I would of said Australia but like I live there so... not really. but europe would be so pretty and imagine if we got a pack with european cas. o_0
Middle eastern/Africa. I think a world based on somewhere like Morocco would be cool. My next choice would be an Asian inspired world or one with Greek themes to it. I just find the current worlds to be really bland. I love Selvadorada and I adore the dysfunction that came with Strangerville but I crave more diversity in the world selection.
(Anything that has a nice warm beach would be welcome) https://ilarge.lisimg.com/image/203806/1024full-the-sims-2%3A-bon-voyage-%28expansion%29-screenshot.jpghttps://ilarge.lisimg.com/image/203806/1024full-the-sims-2%3A-bon-voyage-%28expansion%29-screenshot.jpg
But I chose Asia because I feel like it is broad enough to pick from a variety of cultures and architecture styles that reside in Asia. There's Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Lebanese, etc.
Honestly, I would love a world somewhat resembling Japan, maybe? Both the cities and more rural areas perhaps. Lush gardens, views of the mountains and volcanos, blooming cherry blossoms, etc. I feel like we only get a glimpse of that during the romance festival
ALSO to incorporate things like this that Sims 2 Bon Voyage had, like the tea houses, outfits, interior design decor, pendants, and panels, zen gardens, etc.
I picked Antarctica because, like others have said, we don't have a world that is consistently cold. I don't think it needs to be Antarctica exactly, but just somewhere that's consistently cold, like Alaska. There's also the possibility for such an environment to be a vacation spot, since skiing and other snow-oriented sports/activities could be added.
I also think a residential Middle Eastern or Caribbean inspired world would be really nice, because I don't think there's ever been such.
I chose Australia because of hometown bias but would love Asia, middle eastern or Africa too. I would really like somewhere not traditionally european / north american as a residential world not a vacation space. All the current worlds (even the desert ones) you can live in are very euro/usa centric. I would love a beach to swim at and khaki (not bright northern hemisphere green ) foliage.
Antarctica sounds like an awesome vacation pack. Could I tell a joke about penguins to a penguin? This would be great.

That would require the game engine to have a map system in this game - which it doesn't have and I am pretty sure they are not about to give us the various tools they use to make it freehand.
I'm torn between a lot of the options! Although, top of my list would be a snowy/cold world with a culture based on the native peoples of Alaska and the far north of Canada (although that's still North America) OR a Scandinavian type world OR an Asian world (maybe one based on Southeast Asia rather than East Asia?)
