I hope they go back to newest first shortly because I think it helps us find wonderful creations by lesser known simmers. Quite often when I go on the gallery and see new content I see something amazing from a creator I've never heard of or followed. I comment on the lot, fave the lot and end up following the creator. I've also often posted a link and a nomination to the Best Lot Ever thread so others and Maxis could see the lot and judge for themselves if it really is as wonderful as I found it.
I'd really love to see the gallery used to promote amazing work by any creator, not just ones with large social media followings.
