Gameplay all the way. I brought one of those plug in Sega game consoles, not because the graphics were the best, but because the gameplay was enjoyable. I kept talking my mom into buying Kingdom Hearts CDs when the old ones got scratched or broken not because the graphics were the best of the series, but because I loved the gameplay, even to this day (and yes I did get the digital version for my PS4 :D ). I currently play Sims 3 over 4 and not because of the graphics. A pretty game means nothing to me without some depth or something within the game/story that I can connect to.
