I have searched all over and can't find any information about this. When do you harvest from a plant and get the full harvest? For example, if I harvest it as soon as I see harvestables on it and pick...

Nah that just the leaves of the plasma fruit tree. It's showing glowing fruits when it's ready to be harvest. Other sides note of this tree the fruit can go bad and pulsing like a heart when not harvested after a while.
