Does she have to marry the guy, or can it be a one night stand type of thing? Then if she marries her girlfriend and has the baby will it definitely not show they guy as being the father? Can they be married to two people at once?

You can Try for Baby with someone you're not married to -- just have to have a high enough romance bar. (I've got a slacker baby daddy who's got about 12 or 13 kids running around town.) So the female Sim could develop a "friends with benefits" relationship, do the deed, then get pregnant and give birth; since Sims don't seem to get jealous it should be no problem. The relationship panel for the offspring will still show the guy Sim as the father, just like a birth certificate will show father's identity even if he's not in the picture.

@tomchan0 Just thought I'd throw this idea out there: Go into Manage housholds/CaS with your sim's love interest. Use the play with genetics tool go create a brother for her. You select "Play with genetics" and set the relationship to be that lady sim's brother. Then you make him her twin brother.
I just went and experimented with Bella Goth doing this and I can't post pics, but the likeness was definitely there.

Then you have the twin brother be the "donor" for your try for baby. Now your sim is pregnant and the child has genetics from both families.

On TS3 Into the Future you can travel to future with your mate and make a baby at the hospital:)

I think I'm going to do this. I really want the whole pregnancy experience, but this is the next best thing. Thank you.

I did this when I played Sims 3. It was a cool option.

I don't like cheating in the game as well but in this case... I'd turn one of them into a man, go for a baby and then change the male back into a female. If you can't beat them join them :#

You could study the genetics, adopt a child, and perhaps edit it to look related to her? :\ If you used default options to make the Sim it might not be that hard.

I think if you put in "testingcheats on" and then "cas.fulleditmode", you can temporarily make her partner a man. Then have them try for baby, and once your sim gets pregnant, you can turn her partner back into a woman.
