- I haven't played the science career yet it looks fun, but every time I play the detective career I get a bug where no suspects can be arrested, the Doctor career is fine but gets kind of old real quick.
- Alright then, until further replies, I guess I will make a Doctor Sim.

Not from Get To Work, but I have enjoyed both the Freelancer (Artist) career and the Style Influencer career, for flexibility.
Freelancer gets a bit repetitive, but is entirely open-ended as to when I take gigs and how many, and my Sim can knock out a job super fast anymore. Money at this point is almost too easy.
Style Influencer is a rabbit-hole by default, but also supports a robust work-from-home option with varying responsibilities. I use it for a Sim in a couple with a new child. He can take the rabbit-hole option when his spouse is off for the day, or work from home (easily) while primarily supervising the child. He makes more at Rank 10 (plus raises) than his Culinary 9 spouse, and that isn't counting books and paintings on the side.
Sorry to derail but wanted to highlight those two nonstandard career options as well.
GARRRH! It's supposed to be Get to Work only! Grr!"Sindocat;c-17133169" wrote:
You might put it in the Expansion Pack subforum, then. I was replying to a General Discussion. ;)

I love sceince career, and detective was also fun but man oh man I hated how it made me friends with literally everyone in the end just to play the workdays out. I wish they would make it so you only keep friendships with the actual workmates and not every other NPC you have to interrogate. - Scientist is probably the most varied because of the inventions, doctor can be legitimately hard if you aren't looking at the patients for their symptoms and the detective career gets repetitive fast.
So yeah I'd rank it
1.Scientist
2.Doctor
3.Detective - alanmichael17 years agoSeasoned AceScience is by far the most interesting and least repetitive career.
- Yeah, so we can all agree Scientist is the best job.
