Get Famous: Perks & Quirks

Have you found out anything interesting related to them? I've not been able to find anyone showing all perks and quirks yet. I've been looking forward to find out how this system works and here's what I've gathered this far...

The fame perk system has five levels that you need to unlock (looks similar to the Vampires pack). Aside of that there seems to be five different perk paths to follow. Each of the perks requires a certain fame level, but you also need to have obtained the previous perk on that path before getting a higher one (based on reading the descriptions of the perks). Some also require a certain type of reputation.

Five perk paths:

  • bad reputation, levels 3-5 (who's bad-feud bringer)
  • influencer?, levels 1-5 (corporate partnership-lifestyle brand)
  • socialization related, levels 1-5 (networking-squad)
  • skill & career related, levels 1-5 (noticeable-easy street)
  • good reputation, levels 3-5 (giving back-star treatment)

What's the No Touching quirk? That one looks interesting

You’re sim doesn’t like to be touched by anyone that isn’t a friend or family. They also need to be the same fame level as them. They get a tense emotion if they do. They still autographs and take photos with fans but the description says they put on a fake smile.

It got so annoying cause if they do have to interact with someone they don’t know or doesn’t have the same fame level as them, they automatically do a “act in disgust” action. She’s an actress and won’t practice scenes with her coworkers because of this(unless that’s a bug, but she always acts in disgust)
  • Ok. Thanks!

My Sim just got the mirror quirk. I did not want it, and I got on accident last night when I was playing, all she was doing was practing her lines in the mirror

you can use a potion, or the crystal helmet to remove quirks you don't like. By the way, sims can also practice acting using the microphone, in case you want to avoid the same quirk.

hiw do you get the networking quirk :)

@thesims4pie You buy it with points once your sim is famous. It costs just one point so you can get it on level 1.

Here is a quide about the perks

  • I, unfortunately, do not enjoy Get Famous. When I got it there was a glitch, though that's solved now, the famous people are annoying and I despise Brittany Cho now. When I play at a bar to get tips there's always some famous person getting all the attention. There's one outside my home, in the park, etc. And when I played first time and I became I notable newcomer, I had my Sim play on her phone ONCE and she got that one "Always on their phone" quirk. You do something once and it becomes a quirk and that's so annoying. I don't typically use the objects because they're so expensive. Oh, and my child sim met another child sim at school. I sent her over there to get to know him better, and found out he was in a famous family. I met him before and couldn't even see him again. :|
