It depends on your play style - if you like family play, I'd go with Get Together. It adds a lot of interactions and makes going out on thee town a lot more fun with all of the cool new clubs, bars, cafes. Windenburg is gawgeous! The group part of it - eh, after a couple of days I was kind of over it. Too easy and doesn't add much to the play experience IMO.
If you like to play with a purpose, something to do or accomplish, tasks to complete - Get to Work is the expansion back for you. You go to work with the Sims and there is a bit of a challenge to some of the tasks - like diagnosing illness, investigating crimes, catching criminals, etc. NOTHING challenging at all about Get Together.
I like them both but there's my 2 cents. Happy Simming!
