Get to work

So PlayStation has get to work on sell I was wondering if it's worth buying. I built more then I play so I don't know what do you think?

  • For the PC, I have always like GTW. My favorite is the scientist career. I've always found glitches in the doctor and police ones. I like that it adds retail even though running a shop is not all it could have been.

    And also, aliuns!

They've toned things down though because of complaints from white picket fence players. The aliuns don't mind meld on their own much any more and abduction and aliun pregnancy are cut way back.
  • I don’t know for PlayStation, but for my PC it was worth it. I use quite a few items from the “get to work” inventory, especially when building libraries, studies, or offices in my builds. If you want to build a private practice like a clinic or private eye’s office, it is perfect for that as well.
  • I am considering getting it, but i want nothing to do with Aliens or Sims getting sick. If there is even a 1% chance of aliens or abduction, I’m not interested. And I’m afraid the Sims will get sick as much as the pets in that expansion. So i haven’t gotten it yet.

Alien abductions have been reduced with a patch, I'm assuming they done the same for the console version. But also included with this pack is a device through the science career (pictured below), that will protect sims from abductions.

There are ways even with this pack installed you can avoid aliens if that is something you don't want.

Edited, because I can't spell correctly tonight, even if my life depended on it.
  • If you mostly focus on building and not gameplay then it add some nice commercial items for bakeries, grocers, book stores, and clothing stores. The scientist and doctor career items are also good for building your own secret labs and the detective career items are great for offices.

Gameplay wise I like what is offered but I can't say I use what it adds often as it depends on the sim/household I'm playing.
  • Yeah it’s good. If you like building, it adds 4 new lots you can build. And you can build stores and bakeries if you want. Or build a science lab or hospital or police station.
  • I think it's worth it atleast, i really like the concept of running my own shop. But it really boiles down to how you like to play the sims
Plus i only play on pc i dont know the differences from pc to ps4
