Get Water crisis

Is there a mod to stop sims from getting a drink of water? MCCC is NOT working for this issue, believe me, I have it and tried the autonomy scan thing and it does NOT work. I'm searching and can't seem to find one. I wouldn't mind if my sims were getting a drink of water once in a while but it's constant, all the time, ALL THE TIME! I had the cancel the action at least 20 times within a couple of sim hours if not more.

  • There’s this one, it was last updated June 2017 on Mod The Sims, but since there haven’t been any updates to water drinking it seems like it would still work fine.

ok thanks. I actually did see that in my search but I assumed it wouldn't work because it wasn't updated in three years. I mean, it's worth trying!
  • Have you tried adding the “Get Drink” interactions from https://deaderpool-mccc.com/#/doc/automation to the mc tuner cofig files? I really don’t think the linked mod will help because the new interactions were added in the pre-Island Living patch.

yup, I just did that right before I saw this! Going into my game and hope it worked!
  • The thing with “Get water” is Sims have a hidden thirst need, so they’ll be annoyingly persistent until you let them have a (full) drink.

Interesting. Well I did what @QueenMercy said and so far, it's working.
  • The thing with the interactions to get water, it doesn't only say "get water" in the MCCC scan, but also something like "start crafting autonomously" and other sneaky stuff, when you click to scan for example a sink. I ended up going through the long list and turning off anything that was remotely close to what I was looking for.

There's also a search feature, to speed up the process a bit. Click on the floor after turning on the scan, then choose Autonomy Commands. Then you can search for any phrase you want.
  • I don't mind them actually drinking water, but it's the glasses they leave behind that is a bother. I think they could just make glasses not be left behind when just drinking water, but keep them for other beverages like the drinks from a bar etc so you still have to clean up after a party.
  • I have MCC and if I let them get a full drink and they stop doing it for a while. I don't do anything with the atomomy scan but maybe I should read up on that.
  • I wouldn't mind them drinking water if it didn't make their bladder instantly go low. Water does not travel through the body that fast. :D
