Glitch with detective clues, makes arresting the right suspect impossible

So I'm playing the detective career in GTW and my Sim started gathering clues together to call an APB and go arrest the suspect. Her clues were that the suspect was both a teen and possessed the Ambit...

The only time my clues were incorrect was because I had edited the townie in CAS but the game thought they were still in their old clothes.
