Go here together in Cottage Living

Is it possible to travel and walk together similarly to how you can in Snowy Escape? Im sending a family to a picnic by the falls and it looks like they can only walk individually but it would be so nice if they could walk and talk like a family

  • If I'm not mistaken, that group interaction is totally tied to that world sadly. I would have loved to have had that interaction be available for every world.

This is what irritates me about TS4, an expansion pack should theoretically "expand" the game .... meaning all new systems and actions would be retro-active in all previous worlds instead of it only being available only in the world it shipped with. Same thing with swimming, when they implemented that system into IL, it should have also been added for all worlds that had large pools of water in all of the previous worlds ... you know ... like "EXPANDING" the game from an Expansion Pack.
  • Just yesterday I had a small group of sims "go here together". I don't own SE though, and my sims were on their own community hood grounds, their house was still the active lot.

The only way I know of is the ‘go here together’ on the social wheel under actions that came with Get Together which did just as Chicklet453681 said, it’s a system that is in the GT expansion that can be used throughout the entire game if that pack is installed.
  • Hiking needs to be coded specifically involving a lot of work in each world they'd like to enable it - which for that reason will probably be Mt. Komorebi only forever.
Moveover even hiking in Mt. Komorebi is currently glitchy for a lot of players.

The group mechanic where you select a group by clicking your sim was patched in free when Get Together came out. You should be able to do it without owning the pack. Hiking together on the other hand is exclusive to Snowy Escape and the hiking trails there.
