The thing is, TS4 is unplayable for me without mods to make it more interesting. I modded out all of the plum that I hate and modded in things that made the game less predictable and boring. The main thing is that mods gave me the control that the promos touted but that the game itself never delivered. I was finally able to play my way.
However, as each patch is released, I have to update every doggone thing and it just ceased to be worth it. Not only that, some of the more well known mods have simply ceased to be supported. So, no mods, no game. I've come to realize that the Sims 4 just isn't my cup of tea and I've made peace with that.
Perhaps, one day the game will become something that keeps my interest -- finally. After all, I spent so much money on it already. But today is not that day.
@Cynna I love that that's what I try to do but im just too argumentative and stubborn to not correct people who say its the perfect game
