Good Judge vs Corrupt Judge

My sim is about to start University to become a lawyer, then pursue a judgeship. I am entertaining thoughts of creating a story line with my sim becoming a judge then falling into corruption, payoffs. Is that possible in this game? Wouldn't mind having a corrupt DA too. :p
  • I haven't played the career far enough to know, but I'm also very curious--I'll be watching this thread!

Well, I don't know about judges but if you are in politics (not charity) you can take bribes. I currently play with such sim. She hasn't taky any bribes yet though. Soon she will >:)
  • I still haven't played the Law career yet. I need to get on that at some stage.

oooh, what traits did you give them?

I think any sim with the Good trait will become a judge in my game as only good sims get to be a scout. I like having rules like that.

Huh. Makes me wonder what it's like to be an evil Scout?

"Welcome to the Evil Scouts. Here's your Swiss Army knife."
    "Thanks...what's this corkscrew for?"
    "Eyes."
  • One of my sims graduated university and became a Judge, If you take brides your sim will be demoted a Job level. The bride payout is not worth the demotion. To be a Judge you must be honest, your Honor. Lol Happy simming!
  • Yep. Tried it yesterday with a save just before work. Didn't get demoted but my sim did miss out on a promotion and lost a large chunk of performance. The promotion bonus would have been more than the bribe. Definitely not worth it.

Of course, I had that save from just before work. I reloaded. That was the plan all along.
  • My judge was recently offered a bribe. I turned it down, so I don't know what happens if you accept. Perhaps you'll get a chance to find out.
