More elder sims will probably generate but at least you'll have some miraculously young people now showing up instead (can't say much about their looks though).
@paradiseplanet I've been doing this in my other saves and also I deleted a lot of them an added YA from the gallery to fill the space so the game didn't feel the need of doing itself (since I have the maximum amount of sims pretty low anyway) so I guess I'll keep doing that to compensate the game liking elders a little bit too much :D
