Granite Falls is looking stunning in Winter

Very sure it is. Simgurugeorge shared some more gifs and I'm just....AHHHH. Ten days away is so long now.

There is just something so peaceful in just looking at the gif to me. Can't wait for a vacation in the woods and its snowing like this. Really want to see more with how the worlds look with some of the weather. I'm getting more anxious. Also mentioned a San Myshuno one coming eventually, so we'll get to see how the city looks too hopefully in snow.

Really gives me a reason to visit Granite Falls a lot more now.

  • That cabin fireplace looks awesome in the snow. Too bad that the latest patch appears to have broken lighting our fireplaces? Maybe we can get whatever build the developers are using to make that picture?
  • I wonder if there will be lightning strikes during a blizzard in Granite Falls in Seasons. I would love to see what happens to a sim that's struck by lightning during a blizzard. >:) :D
  • The only thing I don't like is the plants that aren't in season, now are not there. I can't build herbalism skill because none of the lower plants are there. Have to be there 2 days before we can get the low skill unidentified plants. Ho hum...

Basically you have to go there in Summer if you want all the plants. There are plants that bloom in Spring/Summer and some that bloom in Summer/Fall. Of course you could do divided vacations or just stay there for a long time like some of my sims do lol.

I have been thinking about this as well. I think I am going to build a greenhouse in the national park and plant all the granite fall plants.

I like to send my sims in the fall\winter and most of the plants are not in season.

I don't know if it will work for when you need collect "wild plants". I know I tried this a few years back and if they had not identified them from a wild plant they couldn't use them... other household members for instance. It could have changed somehow though and it will definitely work for those sims that already have identified them. It would be a good experiment for sure.

hmm I didn't know that. I have to test it out at some point.
  • Stunning yes. Still boring. And damn cold.
Made mistake of going there on vacation in fall. Still nothing to do, plus my Sims almost froze to death trying to tell ghost stories outside by the fire in the rain...
  • @keekee53 Wow, I hadn't thought of that! Great idea! Thank you!
