Granite Falls

Although I feel Outdoor Retreat is in need of a refresh, I consider Granite Falls to be one of my favorite worlds. It’s beautiful in every season. I just wish our sims could live there and that the lakes were swimmable too. I’d welcome additional wildlife, like deer and real bears and since I own Cottage Living I’ve been adding bunny and bird stumps to make it look and feel even more authentic.

I recently visited the Hermit in fall and stayed for a couple of days to collect insects and harvest shrooms and what-nots. Obviously not everything is available around that time but that’s ok. For me it has always been enjoyable to hang around in GF no matter the reason or the season.

I like Granite Falls too. I like that there are different things to do that are unique to that world. And I use zerbu’s all worlds are residential mod to make it a livable world. It works great. I have spellcasters and werewolves living there.

Granite Falls became one of my favorite places for outdoorsey sims to learn herbalism, fish, paint or photograph the scenery, just a general around good time.

Hopefully the devs will pick OR for a refresh, now that would be awesome! <3

I love it. My Sims are vacationing in there very often. I especially love Sims spending the Winterfest time in Granite Falls. :)

I like the vibe in there a lot, it's a beautiful world. Could have been a tad larger, though. I've been playing on 1 simday per house rotation, so it got meaningless visiting GF because so few plants/insects etc can be harvested the first day. But now I adjusted my rotation and will use GF more. Always wanted to replace the large community lot with a rustic forest spa hotel which would be a good stop whether being into wellness or fitness. Might add a herbal touch to it as well. I assigned owners to most cabins long ago as i like there to be an owner to most lots in my game. Even if they don't use it a lot, it makes for a great heirloom :)

I love Granite Falls & so wish there was a refresh to make it possible to have a residential lot in the World.

Do you use mods? Zerbu had a great mod that makes "all worlds residential". I have sims living in Granite Falls and Selvadorada.

My elder werewolf sim and Lily Zhu went there on their honeymoon, during spring. I'm going to be taking my other lycanthrope family there on vacation once little Daniel ages up to teen.

Granite Falls used to be my go-to place for vacations and sometimes even honeymoons, until we got Island Living and Snowy Escape. I need to have my family go there just to check it out again.

If you go in summer, all of the collectibles should be available. The very worst season to start the Outdoor Enthusiast aspiration is fall. If you're not focused on the collectibles, though, many of the activities can be done year round.
