Greyed out travelers

Sorry, I don't know if I understood correctly, I've never tried. I tried with 1 sim inviting a few others.

I'm sorry. I heard people who bought the game from Steam are dealing with a lot of issues, maybe it's your case ? Otherwise did you try on a brand new safe just to make sure? Last step go hit "me too" on the report bugs. Sorry for you, real downer :(

'M' will automatically invite everyone on the lot at the time. In cases like mine I have sims in two different households meeting in a third location. I have to somehow get them on the same lot at the same time and then we can travel as a group.

'M' is great workaround if everybody is already together in one place before they set off.

It's not a bug. It's always been this way in my experience. It simply means that Sim is unavailable at that time.

When you hit M, does it not tell you you can take seven other Sims along with the Sim that is active? That's what mine says and always has. You can click on a Sim to include them, which makes the panel go green, or click on them again to unselect them.

No, when I hit M my whole household appears on the world map and I can choose a destination lot.

EDIT: Aaaaah, I take everything back! The Sim selection appears AFTER choosing the lot! And here I can still select everyone, nobody is greyed out. Thank you :) !

@GalacticGal @alanmichael1 I've tried what you're describing and all it does in my game is send my sim's household. I'm never offered the chance to choose who comes with my sim. When I do what you're describing when I click on the destination my sim and any household members go with her, no option is given to chose anyone else to go along. The only way, the only, that my sim can choose who goes with her is through the travel option on the phone and it's still broken.

I play on a Mac, even though they refer to DLC as available for PC/Mac I'm beginning to believe the two versions are vastly more different than you would believe. I know they're not going to be twins, but I would expect them to be closer together. I've said it many times, my game doesn't work like a lot of yours do. Just a couple of hours ago I thought it was all because of my old CC coming back to haunt me. Now I wonder if the weirdness is entirely due to my being on a Mac and not a PC. I'm about to find out shortly. I did a massive mod folder clean out. I removed 70GB, not a typo, of CC some of which dates back to 2014.

I just have to travel to lot and then invite the person to it. Which is annoying but whatever. Just another one of the many bugs.

Don't know if it's happening to anyone else but I noticed that after seeing the greyed options if you talk to them a little bit they may open back up for traveling a few teens I couldn't go out with before are now options a few days later.
