Growing Together - Carry Child - How is it done?

I just saw part of the trailer and I forgot that they carried a sim child and now I want to know how. I clicked on the options, but to be honest, they made it so hard to understand where the options are that I might have missed it. But I didn't see any option to carry or pick up. Anyone know how?

    I think you have to have the supportive family dynamic for it to show up in the Friendly>Affection section.

    I was playing a child-alone scenario. MY child sim hung out at the college to eat and get help with her projects. A college student taught my child sim to ride a bike, and she jumped into the college student's arms when she finally learned to ride the bike.

    Yes, and it's not carrying the child so much as giving that very best hug. You should be able to find it under Friendly>affection, I think. I do know I have found it under the Friendly general menu.
