In the pack description I found: "Key choices and milestones will help to shape who your Sims are. "Would someone like to enlighten me on how much those milestones affect a sim's personality? I only read about the infant milestones (which I will probably ignore in most cases), hopefully the milestones later in life will not be of such detail and high frequency? Playing on rotation it is not possible to be very detailed in every house, but I'd still like there to me some milestones especially if they decide how my sim behaves etc.

I know some sims will sometimes get moodlets associated with milestones if they're location-based. Like if a sim wets themselves somewhere, they might feel bad when they visit that location.

I haven't been able to play the pack much because there are several cases of milestones disappearing in rotational play. I made a bug report in may, but no luck this far getting it fixed. But the milestones in general are not as intense for the older sims as they are for infants.

I have considered that mod, but I normally play vanilla and I'm a little unsure about using mods. I think that mod does a bit more than I'm looking for which is why I'm wondering how it would affect perfomance long term. Also on the bug forum someone mentioned it's not working with the current patches? So mostly I'm just complaining until they fix it.

I am a rotational player so I am keeping my eyes on this bug. I don’t know how much this expansion would do for my game so it isn’t the first one on the list but I am trying to read up on it.

I am a rotational player so I am keeping my eyes on this bug. I don’t know how much this expansion would do for my game so it isn’t the first one on the list but I am trying to read up on it.

Am I right in thinking that UI cheats can put milestones back now? I thought I heard that somewhere? Yeah, very annoying bug.

Anyway, my sim was recalling a milestone a couple of days ago that changed her mood, so it does shape them in that way, but not alot different from getting moodlets for other things to be honest.

Im afraid to play my families with babies till they fix milestones bug because I am a rotational player.

Perhaps it's designed that way, that infant milestones are meant to vanish? I mean, I know no RL person aged 20 who recalls when they had their first diaper failure, or first biting own toe etc. Or if they learned lifting their head before or after they learned laughing. These details i'm not afraid to see vanish later in a Sim's life, but if they affect a toddler's development (=talents) it gets a bit more interesting.

So, are milestones still vanishing when you rotate to a different family and then come back? I have been waiting on playing the families with infants till that is fixed. Also, if an infant learns something such as sitting up, when you rotate away, does it go back to not knowing how to sit up when you get back to the family?
