The main things to consider about this pack
- infants are very challenging. They are lovely and offer great gameplay but from time to time I wish I could switch back to base game infants who can sit and play immediately
- Burn out: I find them very disruptive and wish there was an option to turn them off. Yesterday I installed a mod that promises to do just that
- Family dynamics: I don't notice much of them. After a few days the game suggests one and you can choose to accept or decline. You can also pick and choose in CAS. But I don't see much effect from them
- Discover new traits: the game can suggest to replace a trait or add a new trait. Until you accept 3 times. I like this feature.
- Sleepover: family and friends can come over and stay with you for a few days. I love this feature, especially for the grandparents
- Milestones: I was very excited about them at first. They really mean something for infants but for the older ages they are more of a gimmick to occasionally look at than something substantial
- The world is boring. It is very empty with very little to do and only a few collectibles. You can take a walk around the community centre which I like. But the waterpark and rabbit hole cinema are a disappointment
All in all it is a nice pack with lots of small additions. (tree house, kids bikes, baby shower, games like simbles and puzzles, friendship bracelets,..) I like the pack but depending on your interests I would advise waiting for a sale.
