I am trying to play a game where I own a family-run restaurant, with the household that owns the restaurant lives above the restaurant (a' la Bob's Burgers). However, when I close the restaurant and try to get the family to sleep, the parents walk around waking up the kids and saying "this is inappropriate, please stop". After a while of repeatedly trying to make everyone go to sleep, the parents say, "okay now you have to leave" or something like that.
I think this happens because the lot is tagged as a restaurant and not residential. I hope that there will be a fix that allows sims to live on restaurant lots. Perhaps if a lot can have two designations instead of just one. Or perhaps if you can select specific rooms to tag as "restaurant" or "retail" etc.... That way, you can run a business from your home.

There is usually a blue new discussion button at the top right hand side of the screen in the forum sections. But new discussion threads though may have been restricted for new members. You may not be able to start a new thread until you become a full member. This occurs sometimes, especially at weekends and at holiday times.
You need to have 50 points and 30 posts before you can become a full member and can then post pictures, have a signature, edit posts , post links and change your profile picture.This thread explains about it.
