Half tile corner kitchen cabinets?

So is there such a thing as half tile corner cabinets?  I've tried with auto corners on and off, but nothing changes, nor is there any alternative cabinet to select. Seems odd this wouldn't be an option for taller ceilings.  Is there a trick to it?  The full size cabinets change appropriately.

  • Hi there rmuldrew,

Currently half cabinets do not include a corner piece- you can only get a corner piece with the full size cabinet.

For taller ceilings, you can stack two corner pieces on top of each other, or leave a bit of a gap above your cabinets to the ceiling.

Thanks. Seems an odd omission. So many period homes (and high-end newer homes) have floor to ceiling cabinets. The screenshot was me trying to reproduce the kitchen in my old house. I HATE that gap between ceilings and cabinets--it just screams Home Depot. ;-)

I agree, I'm definitely not a fan of the gap either! For my builds, I usually make the walls a tad taller and then double-stack the corner cabinets up to the ceiling.

This is great feedback though, I'll be sure to send this along!
