I could take or leave hanging microwaves; It is a fantastic idea, and I would like them to be in the game, but then they would have to make entirely new movements for Sims to use them. I'm happy with standard microwaves, but hey, if they wanna add hanging ones, that'd be great.
However, stove hoods NEED to be in the Sims 4 base game! Sims 3 didn't get them until Pets I think, and even then there was like only 1. I think there were a couple more released in The Store, too. But why they weren't in the base game is beyond me...
