Hanging out at beach; glitch, bug or what?

I haven't had it at the beach yet. I used to have it all the time in San Myusho though. I always assumed it had something to do with the other sims needs at the time. But when we accept an invite somewhere and we have low needs bars we aren't able to leave until the timer runs out. I did try to repair it several times with no change. The beach, though, I don't have people leave that I invite.

How can it be fixed?

It was randomly fixed by a patch. So, maybe that's what's going on here too.

What patch?

I'm not sure which one it was. I just know it was happening a lot, there was a patch and it was fixed. Maybe go in and repair the game and see if that helps.
