I didn't even think about the price comparison when I wrote that but you are so right that for half the price the stuff packs should have half the content of a game pack. But it does feel to me that the amount of gameplay in the haunted houses alone is bigger than the average stuff pack, though it needs the fear emotion from the update to work. Plus a career and two npcs. So it feels like the stuff pack team is moving in the right direction.
I mean, if I was just getting into the game now, I can't imagine looking at Luxury Party and Perfect Patio and being willing to pay the same price as the last few stuff packs. Fortunately I got most of them in bundles with game packs so I basically got two stuff packs for $2-3 every time I paid full price for a game pack. But they don't sell those bundles anymore so they really should just permanently discount the packs that don't live up to the current standard.
