Happy Release Day!

I preordered it about a week ago, so... I'll be getting it today.
The problem is that I don't have a teenager in my current active save and I'm stuck with playing it because it's the only one that I know is fully on normal lifespan and the aging bug hasn't messed it up (yet). I'm not going to take any risk with my other saves.
I really don't want to start yet another new save just because I need a teenager to play the new pack, but I probably have to anyway.
I will choose a premade Sim to play or something, so I can just delete the save without being too attached to it after the bug gets fixed. I'll probably play with Malcolm Landgraab because I don't care about him. :disappointed:

I've been building and making sims and now just waiting for Noon for it to drop, I have like 20 teens I think in my Sim World.

Not patched even, what is a shame as I had lots of ideas , what to do after patch.

Waiting to see how it breaks other simmers games first! Also, waiting for fix to current ageing and fame bugs from recent patch. When the coast is clear, I'll buy.

I'm getting it for the bb, cas, and shaving. They would have got a preorder but ea needs to know that for me a preorder's main incentive to buy early is to download and play earlier than release time.

I learned my lesson with My Wedding Stories. If I'm not getting it for the Gameplay (and I actually *wanted* HSY until I saw that they'd decided to focus on pretty much none of the aspects of Teen Years that actually matter to me, not to mention dropping the ball hard on cross pack integration) I'm not paying full price. I can live without the bonus items.

I preordered because so many of my favorite Sim YouTubers raved about it. None of them (that I watch) ran into the glitches. I waited on Wedding Stories, because those same YouTubers reported the glitchiness in their videos for that pack. Next time, I will doubt the people I previously trusted.

100% waiting until the patch is fixed so I can update (or until modders fix the issues I have with the patch and the pack).

I wish we didn't need so many fixes but I've already updated and ordered it, plus I booked release day off work so I could play it. So I might as well play it, I've backed up my save file just in case. Hopefully it's smooth sailing from here on for everyone :)

I'm in a bit of a pickle. I don't want to give them full price cash for this super limiting pack, especially when they released a game-breaking update. However I still have an itch to make Sims and been waiting for new CAS stuff (mainly HAIRSTYLES) to play around with. Wish I could just use CC but I can't bring myself to.
