Question

I was thinking of trying to build a Home upgrade store, since I have a sim with 10 maxed handiness skill. I was going to have him upgrade sinks, toilets, washers, etc, and then sell them. My question is, can you buy upgrade parts from debug buy mode, or can you only get them from repairing broken appliances?

You can buy upgrade parts on a computer easily, without all that hassle, and as many as you want.

Yes you can get them in debug as well. I haven't actually used them so I don't know if they are usable or not though. Some are, while others are not. Such as the fish. (At least last time I checked). I don't see any reason as to why the parts wouldn't work.
