has anyone’s mermaids successfully drowned a sim?

i had a group of four mermaids repeatedly try drowning the same sim, but they never drowned, just yelled about their motives. i haven’t seen the animation, just heard several game changers talk about ...

Man :< I was hoping that the interaction reduced sims by a set amount of points and if they happened to be low enough it kills them.

I mean my vampire can influence people to be angry/playful/embarassed and if they are already high enough into those states they pass into engraged/hysterical/mortified and keel over. Found that one out on accident actually... 4 deaths in a club.
