has anyone’s mermaids successfully drowned a sim?

i had a group of four mermaids repeatedly try drowning the same sim, but they never drowned, just yelled about their motives. i haven’t seen the animation, just heard several game changers talk about ...

Hmm... I was planning on making a evil merman who drowns sims, a bit of crowd control so to say. Will try it myself at some point but I remember how much work it was to try to kill sims with my vampire by influencing emotions. I got exhausted and ended up reverting back to my old “swimming pool of death”. Was hoping that the merman or mermaid could make that a bit more fun but it doesn’t look like it.
