Has anyone else reconnected Johnny Zest with his family?

I added him to the Landgrabb household but didn't edit him or anything so I don't think they show as Thur son..., I don't play them much..., I use them to buy retail stores.

Yeep. I always do. I even changed his name to Johnny Landgraab.

Nothing ever really happens. He's close to his dad but he mostly keeps to his wife and her family.

I did, I had my sim who was a golddigger find out that he was a Landgraab. She then seduced and married him. She made sure he reconnected with them and he also began using his family's surname. Needless to say, his wife was thrilled.

It's said that he is originally a Landgraab, but if Nancy and Geoffrey are his parents is not stated...

OMG yes...in all my saves, I used the cas.fulleditmode cheat to adjust the family tree so that Johnny is rightfully claimed as their child. I have MCC, so I don't know if that may be reason, but there have been several times while playing my own Sims that I see Johnny and Nancy actually fighting each other. Johnny always wins and I find that to be hilarious, but I always figured that Nancy was the one who convinced Geoffrey to disown Johnny, so I kept that storyline.

Yes I did, but I never played them. I also made Bella and Geoffrey siblings because I read some place that she has some sort of relations to the Landgraab and then I deleted Geoffrey because he annoys me.

Yes, Johnny zest lives with the langraabs, once again. Still in the comedy career. I pretend no one knows. Not sure, but if Nancy finds out, he'll point out to Geoff that she's in the criminal career..... :)

Johnny's a fun sim to keep around but his house in Oasis Springs is such an eyesore to me. I do him the favor of moving to another house and just putting my spa in that lot whenever I start a new save. I doubt I will ever curse him with having to move into any household that contains Nancy and Geoffrey Landgraab. Geoffrey either attempts to abduct my sim's children or dies at any public venue, putting a real damper on any fun event going on. And Nancy is....Nancy. nuff said.
The wiki does point out his certain similarity to Dudley Landgraab, but also points out certain differences, so I prefer to think of the two as actual separate entities. It might be fun to clone Johnny to bring Dudley into the Sims 4, and make sure Dudley has zero ambition.

On the contrary, the Landgraabs and Bachelors have zero connection other than Bella being married into the Goth family, who is the "competing" wealthy family opposite the Landgraabs. It is stated that Sunset Valley of Sims 3 was founded by the Goths but built up by the Landgraabs. Definitely sounds like grounds for rival families to me.

Yes, I did the full.cas cheat and edited in their relationship, so Johnny goes by Landgraab too. He didn't get along with his family though, so I moved him out (taking his inheritance with him) so he was able to move into a nicer house (and I demolished his mobile home)
