- I don't think the staff have mentioned anything about it yet, but hopefully they will soon because I too am curious.
- neylajc8 years agoSeasoned AceI think they'll have their own cute little interactions like in 2 and 3. They will probably do things like roll around in snow, jump into piles of leaves and puddles , get muddy and etc.

Hi all,
Trying to catch up on all of the Seasons info. So excited!
I'm curious how the pets will react to weather.
I’ve asked this on twitter but they said they won’t answer most questions till mid next week. Another thing I’ve asked that I’ve noticed is when our sims go camping are dogs and cats going to be able to enter the tents now? What if it rains...- 5782341b77vl8 years agoSeasoned AceI'm curious about how strays - like a Sphynx (hairless cat) - will handle the cold winters? :/
The last stray Sphynx that I saw was in Selvadorada (about 3 wks ago), and prior to that, in Brindleton Bay (about 1 and a half months ago). So there are Sphynx as strays, and with no fur, the cold is going to be extra harsh on them (though any pet left out in the rain and snow is sad)! :(
Just for the record, an owner of a Sphynx will usually puts a little sweater on the cat, to help them stay warm (and keep them inside). - paradiseplanet278 years agoSeasoned AceOh, I completely forgot about the cold sad strays that will be left out in the snow. It's going to feel even worse now for my feelings with the strays.
- LadyKyn8 years agoSeasoned AceHope some pets will get scared when thunder starts and try to hide under furniture and such.
- Simberella8 years agoSeasoned VeteranI remember when C&D came out, people were concerned because cats and dogs would sometimes stay out all night or run away and strays were out on their own. So what would happen if we got Seasons? Although I can't remember exactly what they said, the devs (SimGuru's) reassured us they would never let the animals, including the strays, come to any harm so not to worry.
- I'm someone who always gets sad when an animal dies in a movie or story game and it's okay to be attached to video game characters, but I hope you guys know that this isn't real? Even if your hairless cats and strays wander through the snow in The Sims they won't feel pain. The Gurus said during the Cats & Dogs release that deaths besides old age would be too cruel for pets, so I highly doubt they'll let them freeze to death in Seasons.
- thatsme_ever8 years agoSeasoned AceI definitely believe they'll have their own cute interactions like what we saw in The Sims 2 and The Sims 3. I can't wait to see how they'll react to thunders and such. As a veterinarian in real life, I'll undoubtedly be sad to see stray dogs and cats out in the snow or wild rain but, oh well, it's only a game after all. I can't wait for the launch!
