Has anyone successfully done a house call for the Doctor Career?

Is this a bug or did I do something wrong? I got a prompt to go on a house call and it said to click on the front desk to take the assignment. I saw a red heart icon on the front desk and so I click...

Hello,
Try having your sim try and make a housecall the next working day. Sometimes issues can be fixed when sims go back to work the next day.

If the issue still remains, repairing the game may help. To do that, right click on the sims 4 picture in Origin and click repair.
