Has anyone successfully done a house call for the Doctor Career?

I've had issues in other parts where trying to send my sim somewhere they would just stand there (different topic and doesn't really bother me anyways), but I've always had luck with house calls when my sim has to go to them and not just stand around. Sometimes though, it's really delayed for the heart to pop up for me to actually send them to the house call, but always does come up at some point.
