Hating Gardening

Does anyone else hate the Gardening, part of the game now?
:'( No matter what time of the year the only thing that my Sims are able to plant and garden are the dumb peas and beans they can't plant anything else, because it is never the right season for them! They should be able to plant all the other fruits & veggies in the Spring for Growing in the Summer ,but they can't plant anything at all. The option is blanked out. It isn't my Sims because I've tried with numerous families. I garden all the time myself and know what plants grow in what season but none of these grown in any season at all and it is getting to the point where the gardening part isn't fun at all any more! :'(

Ok so far My sim is able to plant everything except an onion. the option doesn't come up for it at all.. Thank you all for the help have been having this trouble for quite a while. Going to try a new saved game also and see how that helps.

@Karababy52 Thank you so much for the heads up on the produce stalls. They make it so much easier than trying to have all my Sims be Gardeners. I think I have my problem fixed now, Removed everything and putting back one at a time and leaving all play mods out except for Moxie which removes the pixels so far I've had no problem for it was one to do with all Harvestables stored in the frig. won't be getting any more of those. Objects don't seem to be bothering the game and I don't have but a few creator I really like. Thank you again for the help It was much appreciated

You're very welcome, glad I could help! Ohh, so it did turn out to be a mod then. Well, I'm glad you got that sorted out and everything is working now as it should. Those produce stalls are great for non-gardening Sims, I have a couple. Most of my Sims usually have a garden or greenhouse though. But it's nice to know that's an option for those who don't have one.

That's one reason why I don't use mods/cc so far in TS4, they seem to interfere a lot with the game, I see other Simmers with problems on here all the time. I'm not opposed to them though, I had TONS in TS2 and loved every one. I'll probably try a few at some point, but for now I'm having a lot of fun with my vanilla game.
