Haunted apartments?

Haunted House is a lot type, like residential, restaurant, bar, etc. So no we can’t use it on the regular apartment lots, but we can use it on penthouses.

There is a lot trait which (as far as I know) you CAN set to other apartments. I used it for a cemetery once.

The tab is involved within the top left ‘thing’ (info panel?) in build mode

There is a mod, easily googleable, which offers all the lot traits. eg: nice view windows are in buy mode, the haunted house plaque etc.

Sadly not, it's a lot type rather than a lot trait (similar to tiny home and rental) and you can't change the lot type of an apartment so it won't be possible. Could use it for penthouses though

If it's lot type, you cant change it, except the san myshuno penthhouse.

There are already two Haunted apartments in San Myshuno, so you can almost certainly add that lot trait to any apartment.

Will the old ghost lot trait work for apartments after the new patch?

I think to OP is talking about getting the full haunted hose effects seen in the trailer in a standard San Myshuno apartment, and that’s what’s not possible because Haunted House in Paranormal Stuff is a lot type and you can only have one of those per lot and the apartment lot type is locked and can’t be removed. So the only way to have a haunted apartment in San Myshuno is to apply the new lot type to penthouses which can be freely built.

The Haunted lot trait that came with City Living doesn’t produce the flickering lights, or noises, or other effects. It only randomly generates a ghost on a lot and produces some moodlets.
