Have a sims with 12 traits

I have a problem with 'have a sims with 12 or more traits' achievement. My sim had a kid who got the happy toddler trait. Then I maxed out all of the character values so when he turned to the young adult stage he had 4 traits that every sim has and 6 additional traits (10). Then when he completed his aspiration he got another one (11) and I bought one trait using satisfaction points (12). But I didn't get the achievement. I bought another trait which already makes 13 traits and still nothing. What am I doing wrong?

  • My guess is that this achievement wasn't upgraded for Parenthood, probably not even for toddlers. I've had this achievement countless times by buying reward traits, and even got it fairly recently, so it does still work.

I have had no problem with getting The Most Interesting Sim Achievement in game. Do you have any mods? If so are they up to date, Your CC won't affect things like this but an outdated mod can. When you start a new group of aspirations such as Animal, Athletic etc as a teen or young adult always make sure you can do full edit mode in CAS. This doesn't work with the kid's aspirations because they don't get bonus traits from aspirations. With your teens and older sims, when you choose a new aspiration group then choose to edit your sim in CAS then go back in the game. I know this sounds like an odd thing to recommend. By doing so it allows you the bonus traits of that group of aspirations thus allowing you even more traits for your Sim like Gregarious for Popular, Alluring for Love, Quick Learner for Knowledge etc.

No my game is 100% vanilla, not even a single cc. I'll try, thanks :)
